Impressive Impact of Life Colors

Solo Show of Paintings By well-known artist 
Jitendra C. Gaikwad in Jehangir

Recent work of a well-known artist, Jitendra C. Gaikwad will be displayed in a solo art exhibition at Jehangir Art Gallery, Kala Ghoda, Mumbai from 9th to 15th September 2024 between 11am to 7pm. This presentation of thematic perceptions in oil and acrylic colours on canvas and soft pastel on paper will illustrate the relevance and sanctity of various colours and their impressive impact on human life in apt perspectives.


This exhibition will be inaugurated on 9th September 2024 at 4 pm by chief Guest Dr. Vijay Suryavanshi, IAS, Commissioner, State Excise, Maharashtra Mumbai in the presence of Special Guest – Dr. Nilesh Khare Sakal Media Group, Mumbai and Mr. Sachin Madane – Board of Executive Director , Wealth Genics Educart Pvt Ltd.

Jitendra Gaikwad hails from Pen. He had his art education upto A.T.D. from Hrishikesh Chitrakala Mahavidyalaya, New Panvel. Being born and brought up in the picturesque environment of Pen, he has been deeply influenced by Nature and its many wonders in different seasons throughout a year. These deep impacts find a prominent place in his endeavours. He has displayed his thematic work earlier in several solo and group art exhibition in leading art galleries in Mumbai, Pune, Thane, Goa, Bangalore etc and received good public response and appreciations for his work. He had his art demonstrations at numerous venues and received appreciations and awards in on the spot landscape and other competitions. His works are in proud collections of many prestigious art collectors and promoters in India and abroad.


The present series highlights the impressive impact of life colours in a human life. He has mostly focused on rural life, Indian Culture & heritage, social life and traditions in various rural and urban environments, different emotions & their revelations, beauty of nature in various seasons in a year and many more. The vivid works are in a realistic style rendering a visual panorama of sensitivity and emotional peculiarities in apt environments and perspectives of visual arts. His works reflect different moods of rural children in playful arenas, beauty of nature in seasons at the monumental paces of heritage religions shrines and sanctity of festive spirits and fervour prevalent there etc. His colour tones and their rhythmic coherence are a visual treat to all thereby rendering to them ample pleasure and serenity.
