India’s famous painter national Academy award winner and first-film-national film award-winning director- Raj Pritam More’s new Short film’’ Bichauliya’’.What is National award-winning director, Raj More coming up with, after Khisa?

Indira Tiwari and Raj Pritam More

Raj Pritam More, who won the National award for non-feature film, “Khisa” in 2019, along with 30 International & National awards, is back with a new short film. “Bichauliya”, a story based on Saadat Hasan Manto. Its adaptation and screenplay is written by Sameer Tabhane.

Well-known Marathi actor, Ankur Wadhve, from the comic show “Chala Hawa Yeu Dya”, is making his debut in Hindi film industry through this short film. He is sharing the screen with the talented, Indira Tiwari, who was seen in “Serious men” alongside Nawazuddin. She is ready to surprise the audience again with her acting in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s released film “Gangubai Kathiawadi”.

Ankur Wadhve

The film “Bichualiya” is present by Sane Insane Pictures, produced by Sangita and Girish Arora. Girish Arora produced so many short film in past and came with this different story line with vision of director Raj Pritam More.

Director Raj More was looking for something new and different after “Khisa”. He believes the location of this film, especially the my casting Indira & Ankur , is the soul of the film. Many films have been produced based on Manto’s stories, but director Raj More believes this one is going to be unusual in very contemporary way in today time.
