Celebrating the Artistic Legacy of Shankar Ghosh: A Tribute Exhibition on His 90th Birthday

Aakriti Art Gallery is proud to announce a special exhibition in honor of the late sculptor Shankar Ghosh, marking what would have been his 90th birthday. The exhibition, titled "Ethereal Forms: A Tribute to Shankar Ghosh," will showcase a curated collection of Ghosh's timeless sculptures, offering art enthusiasts a unique opportunity to immerse themselves in the profound artistic vision of this legendary sculptor.

Shankar Ghosh, a revered figure in the world of modern Indian sculpture, left an indelible mark on the art world with his ethereal designs and monumental forms. The exhibition will feature a selection of Ghosh's most iconic sculptures, carefully curated to highlight the breadth and depth of his artistic oeuvre. The catalog includes notable pieces such as "Sitting Lady 3," "Tribal Couple," and the evocative "Parkour," each representing Ghosh's unique blend of form, movement, and emotion.

- Why Kill?: This powerful 20 x 12 x 9-inch sculpture provokes thought on themes of violence and peace.
